So there are zillions of sites that will give you the 'recipe' for Kale chips... they are pretty much the most simple thing to make!
Indigents
1 Bunch of Kale
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Salt
Preparation
1. Preheat an oven to 350 F . Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
In roughly 20 minutes you can have a great and healthy snack! So much better than 'real' chips that's for sure!

I LOVE Kale chips - my two boys (5 years and 2 years) love them as well! How can you go wrong with that??
ReplyDeleteI made kale chips last weekend. They received mixed reviews but mostly positive. I thought they were fantastic. I have two more bunches and will be making chips out of them as well.
