So... switching things up a bit, our healthy recipes have moved to Wednesday... but they are definately here to stay!
This week I was looking for a great Crockpot recipe... google of course helped me find a great blog "A Year of Slow Cooking" where you can find loads of Crockpot recipes that the blog owner - Stephanie - has actually made AND reviewed! I love hearing what other people think before investing my time... so I think that is a great feature for this site...
I snagged her Broccoli Beef recipe since it is one of my fiance's favorite meals when we order take out - hopefully this will save us some cash and calories!!

2 t sesame oil
2 cloves smashed and chopped garlic
1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes
1 bag thawed broccoli florets (to add later)
Preparation
add the liquid to the crockpot
chop up your garlic, add to mixture
stir in spices
slice meat into thin strips
toss in the liquid and spice mixture to coat thoroughly
