Get the full nutritional picture of the foods you eat!
Reading ONLY the fat and calorie content of your food doesnt give you the whole picture. You also have to take into account the:
antioxidants
fiber
protein
vitamins
minerals
Learn about new foods and how to use both new and old foods in a variety of ways. Take nuts for example-they are high in fat and calories BUT your body doesnt absorb all their calories. And the fat is the good kind, that your body needs and burns differently. Try getting as many different colors on your plate as you can. The more variety of colors, the larger variety of nutrients you are getting! (Cheetos dont count!)
