I came across an article on livestrong.com that shared what they thought to be the best 20 foods in the grocery store. They said these foods are proven to help fight fat, build muscle and prevent disease.

I was kind of excited to see that 75% of the items listed already frequent my grocery list and are in my diet often. I plan to start adding a few more things to my list, like edamame...I've never even tried that!

Edamame is actually soy (like what makes tofu) in it's natural, original state.

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try flaxseed because I have read a lot about but don't know how to add to my diet. Any suggestions??
I like almost everything on the list - except Brussel Sprouts. I'll have to add the list to my shopping list.

ReplyDeleteI sprinkle flax seed on cereal or yogurt, or add it to my smoothies.

BrandBunch- I keep ground flax seed in a spice bottle and sprinkle it on toast with peanut butter, or in my oatmeal, salads..add it in muffins or on baked chicken.
